T'Vuk wondered why he was being summoned again. This time he was meeting up with Samuel Barnes. He needed more vehicles alocated to his cause. He knew the President and his cabnit where coming down to New Vulcan, but he had some dire deadlines to make.

"Commander Barnes, thank you for agreeing to see me." T'Vuk responded, after completing the standard Starfleet protocol greetings. He wanted to get straight down to business.

“Please have a seat,” Sam said cordially. “Would you like a refreshment or to just go straight into business?” He maintained a civil attitude but he remembered last time T’Vuk visited him.

"I need more vehicles to complete our assigned tasks." T'Vuk told him, as he got straight down to business. His tone was calm and very collected.

“How many are you requesting,” Sam replied. His eyes were on T’Vuk giving nothing away. He had prepared for his return and demands.

"Six, my crews are showing up 45 minutes late, waiting for lifts to and from the site. As you know, they do not allow beaming inside the compound." T'Vuk pointed out to Sam.

“How about three,” Sam offered. “Six is asking a lot, I have others to accommodate as well.” He waited to hear his reply.”

"I need at least four, it will be a challenge with four." T'Vuk responded to him, in a calm and collected voice. He had a feeling that Sam would want to neogiate.

Sam stood for a moment, as if in thought. "I can spare four." He smiled then. "It looks like we have an agreement." He was satisfied with the solution.

"Indeed." T'Vuk said in a calm voice, he followed Sam's cue, and stood up.

Sam smiled to himself. He had prepared to give him five and could have spared the six but he had a feeling he might come back and want more so he bargained lower. “I am relieved that I was able to make things easier for you.”

"Not to me, Commander. To the construction yard team. These extra vessels, will allow the workers, to be able to report and transport around the yards. Which will bring up productivity." T'Vuk pointed out to him, in a calm and collected voice.

Tag Sammi the Needy girl, who needs her questions answered! Tag Sammi the ultimate slacker, when it comes to responding to tags! Tag Sammi, who needs to start responding to all occ comments, not just pick and choose which ones she wants to respond too. Tag Sammi, show all of our characters love, by responding to all tags! Why do you hate the Ark Royal Crew? So not cool!

“Yes,” Sam nodded. “It is better for all of us.” He paused wondering if he was just being stubborn because T’Vuk irritated him at their first meeting.

"Unless you need anything else from me Commander, I must really get back to the construction yard." T'Vuk said, trying to hint to Sam that he was ready to be dismissed.

“I am done here,” Sam nodded. It had been T’Vuk’s meeting not his. “You are dismissed.” He waited for him to leave before heading back to work.

"Thank you sir." T'Vuk said, as he left the room. The scene fades away.
